The Herds spend most of the time of the year at Serengeti National Park and this package includes Serengeti too. This ensures that you get to see the Great Wildebeests Migration at one point.

Kenya Tanzania Safari & Zanzibar Beach Holiday – Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival Nairobi

On this arrival day you will be met at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi and taken to your hotel within the City for your first night. Overnight at the Concorde Hotel in Nairobi or similar. Bed and Breakfast.

Day 2

Masai Mara Game Reserve -Safari

Safari day starts after early breakfast in the morning check out of the hotel and drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve. We will have a brief stop at the Rift valley escarpment View point then drive through the Masai land via Narok town and arrive Masai Mara and head to the lodge for lunch with game viewing on the way. After lunch we go for an afternoon game drive then check in back at the lodge/ camp for dinner and overnight. Overnight at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge. All meals included.

Day 3

Full day at Masai Mara

On this day you can go for an sunrise game drive if you wish to spot some Nocturnal animals as they retire back to their hiding after a night out of hunting. You will then head out for a full day of game drives after breakfast with Picnic lunch included. Masai Mara is the home for lots of animal and birds species leave alone the Wildebeests Migration Herds. If you are lucky you will spot the Big Five. Overnight at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge. All meals included.

Day 4

Masai Mara - Isebania Border - Serengeti

Early breakfast in the morning and check out of the lodge/camp and head to Isebania Border where you will get visas to Tanzania and cross over. You will drive through Mugumu township and enter Serengeti National Park through the Ikoma gate arriving in Serengeti in the afternoon. You will then drive to the Lodge / tented camp with game viewing on the way. Overnight at Thorntree Camp. All meals included.

Day 5

Full day at Serengeti

If you wish you can do an early morning game drive then after breakfast leave the lodge/ camp with lunch boxes and spend the full day in the endless plains of Serengeti ; the largest National Park in Tanzania. You will spot lots of animal and birds species that you might have missed at Masai Mara and spot the Wildebeests Migration if travelling between November and August. Later in the afternoon we drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Overnight at Thorntree Camp. All meals included.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Check out of the lodge / camp in the morning and drive through the Central Serengeti and via the Naabi Hill Gate into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You can pass through Olduvai Gorge if you wish ( at extra cost). We will then descend into the Crater floor. Picnic lunch will be served at the Hippo poolside Picnic site then continue with game drives for the rest of the day until late afternoon when we drive up to the Crater Rim for overnight at Farm of Dreams Lodge. All meals included.

Day 7

Arusha - fly to Zanzibar

A leisurely breakfast at the lodge then check out and drive to Arusha town where you will take your flight to the spice Island of Zanzibar. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Ocean Paradise Resort, staying in the Superior Garden rooms. Dinner included.

Day 08-09

Zanzibar Beach Vacation

Spend two days and nights at the beach relaxing. Other activities like water sports, spice tour, stone town tour, Jozani Forest Tour, Prison Island Tour or Dolphin Tours can be arranged from the Beach Hotel.

Day 10

Transfer to Zanzibar Airport - Departure

Spend the morning and day at leisure or take a tour of Spice Plantations and Stonetown (at extra cost) then transferred to the Zanzibar Airport for your flight back home.

In case you fly back home from Nairobi we can arrange that connection for you (at extra cost).
